Dr Parag Nandha is the Co-Owner of Latchford & Latchford and a dedicated dentist with a passion for providing exceptional, patient-centred care. Known for his calm, approachable manner, Parag takes the time to understand each patient’s individual needs, ensuring they feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their treatment journey.

With advanced postgraduate training in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry, Parag has a particular interest in comprehensive treatment planning, helping patients achieve natural, long-lasting results while maintaining the health and function of their teeth.

Parag has also undertaken postgraduate training in Dental Sleep Medicine, with a special interest in the management of snoring and mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnoea. In addition, he enjoys treating patients with bruxism, tooth wear, and occlusal problems, focusing on preventative and minimally invasive approaches wherever possible.

As Co-Owner of Latchford & Latchford, Parag is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where patients feel genuinely cared for. Whether providing routine dental care, cosmetic treatment, or more complex restorative dentistry, his goal is always the same: to help patients feel confident, comfortable, and proud of their smile.

Richard Latchford

Richard is a highly experienced restorative practitioner and Specialist in Prosthodontics.  Richard now specialises in the reconstruction of complex cases, using crowns, bridges and implants, from simple cases to full arch and full mouth reconstructions.  The number of cases and the need to simplify the procedures while maximising the appearance, has involved Richard undertaking both surgical and restorative phases of implant treatment.

Richard welcomes referral of difficult cases especially tooth wear and trauma.  Richard enjoys working with his colleagues on multidisciplinary cases requiring periodontal, endodontic, surgical, and orthodontic input.

Richard undertakes full denture cases, especially where bone loss, retention and stability have proved a problem.

Sheena Vyas

Sheena is an NHS Consultant Oral Surgeon, providing expert care across a wide range of oral surgery procedures. As a specialist in oral surgery, she holds the prestigious Diploma of Membership in Oral Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons and has a Master’s in Healthcare Management.

Sheena also serves as a Clinical Advisor to the General Dental Council and is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England, reflecting her commitment to clinical excellence and education. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals and recognised with awards at national conferences.
She is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the British Association of Oral Surgeons, the British and Irish Society for Oral Medicine and the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry. Her specialist interests include adult and paediatric oral surgery, with expertise in impacted and buried teeth, jaw cysts, oral lesions, oral medicine, and intravenous sedation.
Beyond her clinical work, Sheena enjoys reading, travelling, and watching sports, especially Formula One.

Harriet Shah

Ms Harriet Shah is our specialist orthodontist. Harriet qualified from King’s College London in 2012 and upon graduation was awarded the Jack Wheatley Carlton Hunter prize for professionalism, kindness and humanity in the treatment of patients. Subsequently Harriet worked in Oxford where she completed her foundation training and won both The Graham Smart Memorial Prize for Best Clinical Case in the Thames Valley and Wessex Training Schemes and an award for The Best Clinical Case Presentation for Endodontic Treatment in the Oxfordshire scheme.

Harriet then spent time in general dental practice prior to starting as a Senior House Officer, in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The Eastman Dental Institute, Great Ormond Street and University College Hospitals. It was during her time at Great Ormond Street, while working with cleft lip and palate patients, that Harriet found her passion for orthodontics. Harriet entered her second year of Core Dental Training at King’s College Hospital in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. After obtaining joint faculty membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of England, her specialist orthodontic training was completed at the prestigious UCL Eastman Dental Institute and Kettering General Hospital.

Harriet was awarded her Masters in Clinical Dentistry in 2019. Harriet also successfully obtained her Membership of Orthodontics Diploma with the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is a registered Specialist Orthodontist. Harriet maintains her membership with the British and European Orthodontic Societies and enjoys attending conferences, meetings, and courses to further her skills. Harriet enjoys working with both adults and children and always takes time to listen to patients’ goals and expectations, creating an environment where patients feel relaxed. Harriet provides conventional and ceramic fixed appliances, Invisalign, and in addition for children, interceptive orthodontics, functional and removable appliances. Harriet is trained to place mini-implants and is a specialist Invisalign provider.

Outside of dentistry Harriet enjoys spending time with her two children and husband.

Sunil treats all types of dental irregularity and his specialist interests are hypodontia (missing teeth), lingual braces (hidden braces fitted on the inside of the teeth) and child and adult orthodontics. Sunil has significant experience working with different specialists to achieve the first class results that patients deserve. A good sense of humour and attention to detail is ensured so that children and adults will receive the highest standard of care in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Sunil has published articles in leading journals such as the Journal of Orthodontics, Journal of Clinical Orthodontics, European Journal of Orthodontics, British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Orthodontic Update. He has trained, lectured and presented research to other dentists and orthodontists in the UK, Europe, Asia and the USA. Sunil is a member of the British Orthodontic Society, committee member of the British Lingual Orthodontic Society, European Orthodontic Society, World Federation of Orthodontists and American Association of Orthodontists. He is on the editorial board of Private Dentistry and Orthodontic Practice magazines. He also sits as a committee member on the British Lingual Orthodontic Society (BLOS) and Milton Keynes British Dental Association (BDA).

Jocelyn Miller

Jocelyn graduated from Guy’s Hospital in 1990, followed by hospital appointments in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery rising to Registrar level in the management of complex trauma and reconstructive cases.  In 1993, Jocelyn went into general practice developing an interest in the management of the compromised dentition and subsequently went on to study Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital.  This was followed by further study and research at Guy’s Hospital leading to the award of an MSc in Implant Dentistry in 2001.  As well as undertaking the surgical aspects of our patient’s treatment, Jocelyn maintains and develops a special interest in aesthetic, restorative and implant dentistry.

Nikolas Tatarakis

Dr Tatarakis trained at the University of Athens, and qualified as a dentist in 2005.  He worked as an associate in a Periodontal specialist practice and in the Oral Medicine clinic of Andreas Syngros Hospital.  In 2008, following his military service as a dentist in the Greek Air Force, he was admitted to the University of Michigan, USA where he completed a comprehensive three-year specialty program in Periodontology obtaining a Certificate and a Master’s degree.

In 2011, Dr Tatarakis received a prestigious clinical and research scholarship by the International Team for Implantology and spent one year at the Unit of Periodontology of the Eastman Dental Institute in London.  In the meantime, he completed the necessary examinations and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

Between 2012-2016, he held Clinical Teaching and Research Associate positions at the Eastman Dental Institute, supervising graduate students and conducting clinical research.  He is currently a staff member of the newly founded Centre for Oral Clinical Research of the Institute of Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London.  Nikolas holds memberships of professional and educational associations in periodontics and implants, and lectures and publishes in these fields.

Nikolas accepts referrals that require the diagnosis and management of the whole spectrum of periodontal and peri-implant diseases and conditions, including oral plastic and regenerative procedures as well as for implant surgery.

Samantha Hamer

Samantha studied dentistry at Guy’s Hospital London and qualified in 2002.  Having worked in general practice, she undertook specialist training at King’s College London and qualified with distinction as a specialist in endodontics (root canal treatment).  Samantha is on the GDC specialist register for endodontics.  As well as working in practice, Samantha is involved in postgraduate dental education at King’s College London.

Samantha accepts referral for root canal treatment, re-treatments, treatment of complex anatomy and resorption and surgical endodontic treatment.

Shahdad works closely with Nikos in the treatment and maintenance of our complex periodontal patients as well as carrying out scaling and hygiene for our patients.

Shahdad enjoys working with patients to reach their oral health goals and help develop their abilities in overcoming dental diseases.  He has a special interest in Dentally Anxious patients and Paediatric Dentistry. He provides fillings, fissure sealants and extractions. He is extremely patient with anxious children and is happy to spend time reassuring and coaxing the child to accept normal treatment.

Phillipa Finch

Phillipa works closely with Nikos and the team providing treatment and maintenance for our complex periodontal patients as well as providing routine hygiene for our own patients and self-referrals.

Phillipa graduated from The Eastman Dental Institute UCL as a Dental Hygienist and has wide experience of working in clinical practice.

She is passionate about Oral Health and the impact it has on general health. Phillipa always gives tailored advice to motivate patients along with diet advice, the application of fluoride varnish and fissure sealants to improve the health of the mouth. She enjoys treating nervous patients and strives to change the perception of treatment using her caring approach to make sure everyone leaves with a wide, white smile.

When not at work Phillipa enjoys playing squash, cooking for family and friends and going for long walks.
